I do agree with you Sara. Men dont understand sometimes that no one else’s compliments or opinion really matters as much to them as their husband’s. If their husband compares them to someone else, it hurts their ego and kind of dents their self-image.
LOL…usually I dont argue with you lekin aap hi batao Nomi…how is it fair to compare your wife’s cooking to someone else’s? Vo itni mehnat karke pyar se khana banaye…to apka farz huwa ke aap khakey tareef karo. Baad mein batado aram se ke thora namak tez tha. Lekin apne kamaskam uska dil to rakhliya na. Thats what its all about.
If I need to lose weight, I want him to tell me. Thats never an issue. But dont compare me to Mrs. Khalid who is super fit because she has all the time in the world to spend 3 hours working out. Mrs Khalid doesnt have a job and her kids are in school in the daytime. The woman better be fit because she has no excuse.
Comparisons are wrong for anyone…be it husbands, wives or children. It doesnt matter. A lot of times what we long for might not be the best for us anyway. A super fit wife who argues with her husband over petty issues and doesnt really pay attention to her household because she is too self-involved isnt much use to anyone. But no one can see that, can they? Nope.
Be careful what you wish for.
