Now it's just plain sexist! You're excluding men out there ...who are quite fond of makeup. Some of them are on GS. Come on......guppies....fess up....u know who you are.

if it is your wedding/valima sure you can wear makeup to enhance the flawlessness of your skin but otherwise ummm no!

From what I've read/heard....it seems that guys don't like too much makeup...that's caked on. A little goes a long away...although I don't know what exactly that would entail.

From a female perspective, I think a little goes a long way. I used to be CRAZY about makeup as a kid. Now....I feel like it's all essentially the same stuff....just different brand names. I'll wear strobe cream/foundation/blush/eyeliner/mascara/lipstick for special occasions. But usually...(even to work) the most makeup I'll wear is lip gloss.

Make up that is used for the sake of make up is horrible. You know like any fat Egyptian woman with pink eye shadow, purple blush on and green lipstick. The ones that look like clowns.

Make up that is light, delicate and enhances the already alluring features of a woman? Hot stuff.

Regarding men wearing make-up:

Many of my straight male friends use Touché Eclat concealer to cover up the previous night's sins....

It's pretty common in the City.

*Hmmmm, I usually only do foundation, lip gloss and kajal brought specifically from PK (my parents had a feild day with that request!), and that isn't even every day. I don't have that many flaws thank allah unless I talk on the phone for a while and then the right side of my face breaks out and gets splotchy and everything. When it gets really bad, that's when I put on the MU. Otherwise, nope. STBH on the other hand, thinks I don't need it. Lucky for him, I like the natural look myself so I don't go crazy with it. *

*Although when I was 8, I used to wear the most hideous bright red lipstick. There's even evidence of that tragedy. Why I was't stopped, I'll never know. *

Would bold makeup be more acceptable if she was a thin/skinny Egyptian woman or any other ethnicity for that matter? :rolleyes:

Rarely do women (unless it’s on the fashion runway) wear green lipstick. :chai:

I had a teacher who would wear purple lipstick. PURPLE! In Pakistan! Scared the jeebies outa me…I mean who wears purple lipstick casually???

Yes please a little bit of it , but most importantly , DO WAX . Half grown mustaches ain't cool . And please please please no sandals all the time . Wear pants if you think it will look good on you , otherwise find a longer skirt . Whats with wearing leather jacket madam . Please NO . Leave few fashion to gooraz .

A sensible, very light make up is fine. “The one which does not scream of being make up!”

Now for wedding, too much make up makes the woman completely different and in the morning husband may say, “Aaaah! who are you?” :confused:
