Men: makeup or no makeup?

Re: Men: makeup or no makeup?

^ :D

Very....observant of you...:)

Re: Men: makeup or no makeup?

I love my Green Lipstick and I'm not even Egyptian.

Re: Men: makeup or no makeup?

I know, eh Reha?^^ Shahbash, Nomi beta. >.<

And I'm a girl so I love makeup but I only use sunblock SPF 90/eyeliner + kajol (very light) and lip balm. No foundation (I'm scared of the atta look but suprisingly I'm 19 and I never breakout with the exception of the forehead area. Other than that, idk why but I never get pimples/zits so I don't need foundation), blush (can look clownish but my cheeks are already really rosy so it becomes obvious when I'm wearing blush) BUT sometimes for a badass edge, I'll wear red lipstick (I love Russian Red by MAC).

Btw does anyone prefer going simple just because you feel more confident that way? As in if somebody calls me pretty, I know it's not because of the makeup. At least not the 'extra' makeup which consists of eyeshadow, blush, foundation and lipliner. All of these can change your features and can make you look TOTALLY different with them on/off which is why I avoid them totally.

Re: Men: makeup or no makeup?

Ugh. You haven't seen Egyptians and how they wear make up. Feel like throwing up when i remember those images....

Re: Men: makeup or no makeup?

^Those Egyptians would probably react in the same way after seeing your "gold chain with taweez and other things on it".

Btw, I don't own a green lipstick, that was said in sarcasm that you didn't get.

Re: Men: makeup or no makeup?

Huh? Who was talking to you?

Like no dark eye-makeup right?

Oh I see, you were replying to M_was_here.

I was just pointing that it's not right to single out one nation because there are people with bad taste in fashion in every single nation. Infact, Egypt has a very advanced fashion industry.

As for Reha's thread, well, I wouldn't bother with what men like or don't like neither I would take any advice from them(I don't even like taking advice from women regarding fashion). Though, sometimes, I do take my husband's advice/tips, that's all.

As long as it looks good I don't really care what color it is. Dark is fine as long as it goes with the look the lady is aiming for and doesn't make you look like a goth.

hmmm...i used to love makeup (kajal, mascara) until i went to pakistan :D...whenever i was wearing my eye makeup, nobody cared about me.. pata nai kya tha
but as soon as i was without makeup i got so many looks, numbers from boys lolll...dont knw whats wrong with pakistani men, or maybe makeup doesnt suit me lolll :D

so i stopped wearing makeup (not to get the looks :P ) but bcuz i guess it doesnt suit me :D

Re: Men: makeup or no makeup?

Men love women with make up... they just don't want to admitt it...

Re: Men: makeup or no makeup?

Light make up looks decent and good.

Heavy makeup is fine only if she is in a death metal band. Quite a lot of our desi women seem to have have the disease of wearing too much make up.

^Thats true. Imagine their heart skipping a beat at the sight of a hottie cuppy cake, followed by them crossing theirs arms on chest and shaking head “too much make up, no?”:rotato:

Re: Men: makeup or no makeup?

for a regular day, a little whatever on the face (so much that people cant figure out if make up is on) and a lipstick should do!

beside this, more time/items girls need to "make-up" just means she has to "make-up" a lot :)

:konfused:

I’m actually wearing trousers and a white leather jacket - what’s wrong with women wearing leather and pants (although not leather pants)? It’s 10am and I’ve already had three women and a guy compliment me on the outfit.

And sandals, women celebrate the onset of summer with a pedicure to welcome sandal season - it’s their reward for surviving the long winters.

Nope, it means she's accentuating her assets :@:

For work I do the dewy look… moisturizer and strobe cream, light blush, lightly lined eyes and lipgloss/light lipstick … heavy eyes are for evening events only. My husband doesn’t like the dewy look :frowning: he says I look tanned (he’s obsessed with gora rang :smack:) but I love it :snooty:

So how many of you men prefer the matte gori chitti look over the dewy look?
