They’re so less messed up. The ones who grew up here tend to be more insecure, constantly confused about their cultural status (should I be westernized, should I be easternized? Bodies and bodily functions - westernized; views on women - easternized?); and most of them don’t even know Urdu. All they know about culture is chicken tikka and the variety of kababs in the market. And they have attitude problems cuz they think they’re a gift from God to humanity. Meanwhile the simpletons from Pakistan looking to come over for a job and to make their family’s life easier…they seem to be more appreciative. :halo:
Re: Men from Pakistan
I would say people in general are just confused these days. They don't know what the hell they want or what they are looking for. Somehow everything has turned into 'trial and error', let's try this and see, let's try that and see.. instead of knowing what you want and then struggling to achieve it and remaining committed to it.
Re: Men from Pakistan
PCG seeing a FOB thesedays - boy number please , third or fourth ? :D
Re: Men from Pakistan
Theres absoulutely nothing wrong with FOBS.... actually dont take it from me... I'm a very bad example :p

...until they get what they came for: the citizenship.
Re: Men from Pakistan
Generalizations , stereotyping , and prejudice is not how one starts a meaningful relationship/friendship. Do not judge and one will not be judged.

i take this whole thread as a compliment

exactly.
Re: Men from Pakistan
you are correct to certain extent. one reason could be all the facilities, less corruption, peace & no fear of target killers. the people who born here they take everything as granted, but for FOBs its like living in a Jannat.
but being ABCD has not fault of ours, we are like:
*kashti k musafir nay samundar nain dekha
*but sikhs are quite different, even after living more then 2 generations in UK/USA/Canada .. there children speak Punjabi like any other sikh from Punjab.
Re: Men from Pakistan
Huh? Didn't you used to say the opposite of this a couple of years ago? New rishta from Pakistan?
Re: Men from Pakistan
its not just the men....
Re: Men from Pakistan
Meanwhile the simpletons from Pakistan ...
Simpletons? Heh. They don't exist in this day and age, least of all in the motherland where everyone learns to adapt in a dog-eat-dog environment. Kids raised here tend to be less street smart/shrewd in that sense. You can't change ABCDs or FOBs, but maybe tweaking your own outgoing vibe will help you hone in on guys who aren't jerks. They do exist.

ABCD zindabad! ![]()

...or new hallucinations.
Re: Men from Pakistan
isn’t that environment everywhere??
PS…i am very less streetsmard/chalaak does that make me an ABCD ![]()

Yeah, that's not true.
You make it sound like a fact when its not. I know plenty of what's the phrase kids use these days? Ah yes, 'Mummy Daddy' people both overseas AND in Pakistan. Your statements can very well apply to every place in the world.
Re: Men from Pakistan
There are no absolute facts in that quote, we're dabbling in generalizations, remember. And I don't know what Mummy Daddy people are, but you seem to be upset about something.
I've realized Pakistani men are just as delicate as Pakistani women. I'll make sure I walk on eggshells next time 'round. For the record, I'm all for mail-order simpletons from the subcontinent, sign me up, heck I'll even take 2 after the polyandry thread, yay.

I believe that phrase applies to people who aren't street-wise.
Aye, I was upset when you said kids raised *here *tend to be less street-smart/shrewd; sure sounds like an absolute to me.
I have no bets hedged either way.
I've never lived in the Motherland but I sure as hell know a crap-load of Desis all over the world and that's not just on this train-wreck.
Of course we're delicate/special/unique! Me mum told me, it must be true
Re: Men from Pakistan
i could flip this entire arguement and apply it to women. But im not gonna cuz it would be a big generalization
Re: Men from Pakistan
The one who grew up here are not threatened that their wives will kill, cook and eat them, so they dont have to pretend to be less messed up.
