After an intimate relationship, its very difficult to go back to being just 'friends'. Intimacy breaks a barrier in a friendship and takes it somewhere you wouldn't go with other people. Naturally its more deep and emotional (whether its a relationship or a feeling expressed) for a woman than for a man so they find it harder to adjust after. Maybe after many months apart you can start looking each other in the eye and talk near that friendship level again.

yaar starsky, no reason to be philosophical here. this ones easy. desi women think that if you become intimate with someone it obligates them to marriage when they are two completely separate things.

It's difficult sometimes to stay friends after a relationship, but I think it's better. It feels so strange not talking to eachother anymore after you break up..

Thats the point dude, if one crosses the barrier of intimacy then they should be responsible enough to take it all the way and not play around with a girl’s head and emotions. Desi girls don’t like the ‘wham bam, thank you mamm’ routine, exception being if she initiated :stuck_out_tongue:

lydia, if you become intimate and things dont work out.... its not slam bham. sometimes you find out who the other person really is after becoming intimate. and not just physically. i hope you get the jist.

although i feel dating is wrong, there's still a big difference between sleeping with a bf/gf whom u care about versus cheap hookups, fk buddies, booty calls, one night stands etc.... no i don't get the jist, what do u find out abt a person after u sleep wiht em? Plz, do tell :)
