Okay so they say when a women calls you up and pours her heart out to you they don;t want advice..they just want you to feel what they ar feeling..they just want to let it out and all you need to do is sit and listen.
So my question is..when a guy calls you up and tells you his problems…does he want you to sit and listen? give advice? sympathise with him? or does he want a pep talk?
usually they just want someone to listen, only offer opinions and advise if they ask. I learnt this the hard way.
sit and listen....Tiny bit of advice wouldn't hurt....but don't try to enter every part of my life...just yet!There is still a lot to work on...
My experience is that when a guy talks with you about his problems, he wants you to fully support him and say "yes" to everything he says, whether he's right or wrong. But I guess not every guy is like that but this has been my experience. Let him calm down a bit after a few minutes and then go on with the advice, pyaar se, aram se, give examples etc.
its difficult when u have to pour ur heart out, so I normally go out for a cigarette…

Well I;m nto askign him to pour his heart out…he just does..they all do…I’m everyone’s agony aunt really…I can blackmail almost everyone I know.
I usually listen and yes..you’re right Destinee I always always ALWAYS agree with them, be it male or female. With males it’s always better to never criticise, I usually suggest something but always make it seem like it was their idea in the first place.
Thing is I’m usually used to listening to guys who are my age and younger..so it’s all cool…coz they’re not “wiser” than I am. However this certain guy is a lot older, significantly older and what he was telling me about was so legal and technical and stuff that I really have no idea about…I kinda wondered why he was telling me all that coz it was real high profile top secret stuff. I think he just wanted someone to hear him out coz he was in a damn fix and was feeling real low about a certain mess up.
Told him I’d pray for him and not to worry to much and today was a blessed day all his problems were solved and he called up and said..“Thanks you’re an angel”

i think they want to be listened to and tell them whether they are right or wrong..
personal experience tells me that guys dont really want u to agree with them without a proper reason. They like mature input and dont really want someone to just go "yes yes yes u r 100% rrright"
and even if u disagree, they want a reason for it.. i think

Trust me sads, ANYONE who's hyped and emotional just wants you to agree with them at that moment. After that you can sit and reason..but at that moment you just want to be agreed with.
