Might be true as in Aahat (one of the last movies of Wahid Murad), he played husband of Shabnam, though the actual hero heroine of the movie were Shabnam and Nadeem. Thats a wonderful movie with good music.

she was madly in love with ajaz and tried her best till last movement. She might have agreed for respect of Khwaja Khursheed Anwar. BTW Shahnaz from Alfa Bravo Charlie married in Khwaja's family.

My mom tells me that before Zeba married Muhammad Ali she was apparently linked up with Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. It is even rumoured that her daughter Samina Ali was Bhutto's daughter. This was sometime in the 50s. Once Bhutto had a brawl with another one of her admirers and sustained head injuries as a result thereof. The doctor he was treated by is a distant relative and the story a part of extended family folklore since then :)

rumors are that he fell in love with an actress (playing secondary roles. i think her name was Nazli) and after getting cold response from her he committed suicide.

Khawar was known to be involved in an affair with Lahore dancing girl and actor Nazli. For unknown reasons the affair came apart and Khawar got so dejected he decided to end his life by shooting himself with a shotgun in Lahore on June 2, 1986. However, the actual reason of his death remains a mystery as there was no blood in the room where he was found dead with a gun in his hands. Moreover, there were rumors that Khawar decided to give his property as a gift to the actress Nazli which was alarming to many in his family.

I have read somewhere that famous poet ‘Nasir Kazmi’ was in love with film star Rani and probably his early death got link with ‘ishq main nakmai’.

yes, I heard that this favorite hero of many heroines, started taking heroin in his last days. He was under immense pressure due to flop movies. I think Muhammad Ali and Nadeem handled their career properly and dind't lose when they faced downfall.

I agree. Waheed did not take it very well.

And then we had this tragic demise of Sultan Rahi. Don't know if it was controversial or he just became a victim of some petty street crime.

It remained mystery, whether he was victim of professional jealousy or was killed in a random incident. Though, there was no competitor against him in types of movies he was doing.
