Re: Mehram Precautions
ok guys no offence to any of you at all …but why this attempt of separating religion and our daily lives apart? our religion thankfully isnt just confined to a once a week service or just festivals/occasions. Rather it kind of helps us understand many boggling aspects of our lives! And no am not a preacher not a super pious person either. just another average Guppan like you all ! ![]()
i have always found GS to have very open minded, mature people around who discuss relevant issues and topics without personally hitting on a poster’s posts or at a personal level. So let’s keep it that way.
Incest and sexual harrassment amongst relatives is related to the sickness of one’s mind and not because of dressing only. (a point on which I disagree with R.A.W)
But yes there are certain boundaries that should be drawn about what’s inappropriate both in the manner of dressing and behavior …extended families or non mehram unknown people in general !
Alhamdullilah we are blessed to be a part of and raised by such cultured, loving families but let’s not take everything for granted esp in terms of male servants etc. Sticking in the middle and not going overboard on either side would be the answer…
Rest assured am sure no girl here or anyone for that matter would run around at her place knowing she has other family members here clad in a skimpy bikini ..nor would anyone dream of her to be coming out of her room in a burqa and a naqab too ![]()
