Mehndi Outfits

Re: mehndi outfits

Yayyy:D

I don't know though... its slightly dull for a mehndi for my taste. Although I wouldn't wear a total yellow dress, I'd like to have a pop of brightness somewhere. This dress I'd probably wear in the days following the shaadi.

Re: mehndi outfits

few real life dulhans

Re: mehndi outfits

^ The first is a guppan, and she was a beautiful dulhan both days. MashAllah.

this is a picture of the brides sisters on the mehndi, i think the outfits are stunning, any of these color combos would look great too…

Re: mehndi outfits

^ so pretty!!

are these real roses stitched on the dress??? Can’t understand :konfused:

Re: mehndi outfits

Looks like they pinned them on before putting the dubatta on her. Look real enough to me..

Hi Can anyone tell me what type of material this is or design…
It’s that soft fabric, is it tie-dye? And those who live in Pakistan is this still popular for a mehndi?

Re: mehndi outfits

This one is tie and die on silk.

I was surprised to find out this is actually the brother + bhabhi of an old classmate/friend…i dont know them but i’ve seen a few of their pix on fb and the’re very cute couple

That material is called "chunri"

A comb and some gel would have done the trick for him. He looks
like he just jumped into the suit and showed up at the wedding.

Hey Gina...would you happen to know the difference between chunri and bandhni?

Re: mehndi outfits

^ they're the same, i believe. chundri is the urdo word, whereas in hindi its called bandhini.

Chunri (tie-n-dye) the "chun" isn't intricate nor are the designs detailed. Bandhini is detailed and has gorgeous patterns and designs. Yes, chunri is what we call it in urdu and it's called bandhini in hindi..
