oh honey, andrew’s fabulous too, but they weren’t entirely open to his being a gora… initially anyway. now all we hear is how cute our kids are going to be!

Question.. who chooses the mehndi outfit? For me and all my cousins in pakistan, it’s always the guys side who picks that out. but i’ve read alot fo comments here that indicate the girl chooses what she wants for the mehndi

im picking out my own... but i know for my friends, the engagement outfit for her came from the groom's side, and then the girl's side sent him his outfit. although both times the girls did have some input, i.e. what color they would prefer and if they wanted heavy kaam or not.

i did green and pink cuz i knew everyone would show up in yellow and would be wearing hte same color as me...i hate that!!! so pink and green/mendhi color mix worked for me. or do a yellow/green mix...its better if u do 2 or 3 colors....

yellow green is just the best colours to wear on the mendhi day, nice and tradional, the nicest one is the girl who sitting with side almost back showing, with simple yellow suit with parandha....looks so eleant and nice and simple!

lol now it makes sense i thought you were asking for which joraa u should wear on ur mehndi hmmmmmm i personlly liked the girl with pranda coz i think that girls should look simple on their mehndi and thanks for sharing :)

Do you really have to cover your entire face during the mendhi with the dupatta or can you just have it on your head?
