Re: Mehndi party favors
I recently found a shop in karachi. The woman who owns it is Mrs. Anwer. She is a master of handmade gift pieces, decoration pieces (for ordinary use, wedding or any theme for any event), mehndi thaals (for purchasing and rentals), trousseau packaging, flower arrangement and favor boxes. I myself purchased a decoration piece at reasonable price. And a couple i know had a baby recently and they ordered hundred favor baskets from her and because they ordered that in a lot Mrs. Anwer brought down the price of one big basket from Rs. 1200 to Rs. 500. Her work is really good and she seems to be a hard working person. Anybody coming to or living in Karachi do check out her shop. And anybody living outside Karachi and interested in buying her products, contact her and im sure she will send you pictures of her work. The address is Shimmers, Shop No 13, Plot No 01 Data Tares near Medicare Chowrangi. Her contact number is 0300-2539290. I do not know this woman personally. I have only met her twice but i genuinely feel that she deserves recognition on a bigger scale. Trust me you will like her work.
Re: Mehndi party favors
well yea choorian, mehndi , small bags can be given as mehndi favours to all girls attending mehndi. what we did was we picked the flowers from hall after shaadi night and gave it to close families alongwith mithai and dresses. One f my friend picked all flowers from tables after mehndi function was over , spraye dthem with water and next day , as it was day's wedding, she cutted all thorns out and at entrance to the wedding hall, she presented everyone with that flower instead of throwing petals.
Re: Mehndi party favors
^I was just thinking that. Mehendi itself (as in cone mehendis wrapped in pretty paper) can also be given as party favors. Although I woudn’t pass em out during the event…as some people in the audience may start applying the mehndi…and thus not focus on the bride-to-be/occasion. It can be given at the end. As for during the event…candy can be given as favors. I know a girl (desi wedding) who gave out these small but beautiful perfume bottles (empty ones) as favors. They looked like this:

Another cute idea could be tiny jewelry boxes.

Maybe this link can give some ideas (it has some cute ideas):
Re: Mehndi party favors
The Gazebo style party favors looks great. I prefer that one instead of the others. Good thing there are even different Gazebo types and styles to choose from which make it more classy.
Re: Mehndi party favors
Ammi had baskets of churiyaan sets to give out at our mehndi. Festive, fun, and inexpensive.
Re: Mehndi party favors
These are really pretty, can I ask what website they are from.

MEHNDI/MAYOON FAVOURS
I've seen hosts giving out various kinds of favours to all the female guests at mehndis/mayoons; e.g. chooriyan, mehndi cones, bags of sugar...
What did you give out at yours? Any unique or unusual favours?
