Re: mehndi jewellry
There is an unlimited number and variety of beautiful bridal flowers to choose from. With the latest trends and imagination you can build the bouquet of your dreams with your choice of flowers. Some good scented flowers are gardenias, peonies, stephanotis and tuberoses. Lily of the valley and orchids are a good choice too in my opinion. :)
Re: mehndi jewellry
u mean u want to wear flower earings and bangels stuff?
ive seen brides setting flowers in their hair..the white ones or mayb u can just do one flower on any side
Re: mehndi jewellry
I think the traditional jasmin flowers in the hair are still the most beautiful. I'd say stick to a light color that won't overwhelm anything else you're wearing. Where are you getting married?

mehndi jewellery
I need advice on whether I should stick to the traditional flower jewellery or buy myself a teeka/ matha patti... [can't wear matha patti on shadi or valima since mum in law already got both sets]...
what do u think looks good?
Re: mehndi jewellery
If your MIL already got you a teeka and matha patti I would go for the flower jewellery..
Re: mehndi jewellery
she didnt get a matha patti.. only the regular sets with teekas...
i'm not a huge fan of a flower teeka... the earings and the rest are fine... so i was thinking of doing either a matha patti or teeka on the mehndi and having flowers in my hair or something.
Re: mehndi jewellery
i dont like flower tiikkas all the time either. i think the flowers in the hair is a great idea with your own set
Re: mehndi jewellery
A nice big teeka with traditional earrings and flowers in the hair looks great.
I've also seen a bride wear a nice elaborate teeka, no earrings, and a side braid with lots of flowers. That looked very pretty too.
Re: mehndi jewellery
plz dont wear a flower teeka,it looks hideous even at the best of times.
Re: mehndi jewellery
wear a chand tika or matha pati instead, it'll look fab.
Re: mehndi jewellery
My mom made all my flower jewelery...and she did an awesome job!
she made flower earrings, gajra for the hair, and wrists...i made the haars :)
i think the flower tika on the forehead may be a bit distracting..unless its very small...they tend to wilt quickly though due to the body heat...
Re: mehndi jewellery
^ Your flower jewellery was stunning...the roses were so full and beautiful!
