like i need things like diyas adn chairs.. and mehndi plates....and any other decor stuff... the wedding is not in pakistan i have to bring these things back to toronto

my mom went shopping for this stuff in pindi... i think in the bazaars...they have nice trays and stuff..everythign u need...these days there's this little dholi that two girls hold for the mehndi...very nice....if ur coming to toronto, they have all these stuff here too..check out shadi depot in rexdale..all kinds of nice stuff...as for decorations..why woudl you want to bring it with u from pak? all the rooom it takes..hire a decorator...for my brother;s wedding....we hired this lady named Laila....she did an amazing job for the mehndi and shadi......she makes all those things used for shadis...trays, flowers for hair/bride on mehndi....shes great!!!

i think its raja bazaar....i THINK....actually the stuff here is really quite good...and not paindu looking at all..very classy stuff....im telling u....save ur time and energy about decoration...hire someone...for around 1800 dollars we had all this:
- 2 mehndi states decorated (one for groom, one for bride_
- shadi stage
- flowers for the bride on her mehndi (for bracelets, earrings, haar) -haar for the groom on mehndi
- haar for the groom on shadi
- a bouquet for bride on shadi
- hair pieces (flowers) for the groom's sisters
- plus additional decorations for the shadi (cake table, the main entrance)
shes awesome..trust me!!

I think you should find a local decorator.
If you think it'll save you money from paksitan, by the time you bring everything here, figure out how to decorate with the things its totally not worth it.

hey my sister just had her wedding..i tried posting the pics...but i dunno why it wudnt let me... n e ways...the theme was sunflowers...kind of sort of...and on each table as a center decoration we had a hugge sunflower with a candle in the middle of it...it was hawt...
i also went to antoher mehndi...where the background had vines of sunflowers...draping in the back of the stage...i u kno what i mean...it was really nice...
just some ideas....hope they help!
