Thanks for the ideas guys....orange an pink is really nice but was the theme for my best friends wedding but the green and turqouise could be a possibility!!!
Rabia love the royal blue an orange combo as well...

i've seen turqoise and red (the bride wore a lengha like the HSY one) and all her girls/cousins/friends wore reds.
another friend did purple and black. yeah, not very mehndi like.
another one did yellow, pink and turqoise (her suit was all 3 colors) with decorations in all 3 colors.
i wore a mostly yellow and some green gota suit, but my decorations were multi colored (orange, pink, green, yellow, turqoise, gold) and it looked amazing!

Hey Guys,
Im new to this too...but have gotten so much help from surfing this site before. Im getting engaged in July inshaAllah- outfit is a mint green and red kaam gharara, its stunning mashaAllah! Now im planning the wedding...i live in the UK...and most mehndi's I go to...are so similar. Im stuck for ideas.
I saw a design in a magazine - of a cerise deep pink kameez with mehndi green jamavar churidar...but what about the stage...should i use the same colours to decorate that?
Goin to Karachi in December to do my shopping! Wish me luck! Oh and pics and further ideas would be really helpful!

I am going to do magenta, purple and pink with hints of green. I love bright colours for mehndi and I really don't like yellow.

these days you can put any colors together for mehndi like:
purple/rust/green (a friend of mine wore this, its was stunning)!
lime green and light blue
creamish and yellow
multi color
green and red
orange and green
Yellow andredish

I've finally booked the venue for the mehndi yesterday...
The stage is quite big so i've decided that i want cushions on either side of where i'll be sitting on the stage...
Still not sure about colours but thinking i might have some purple included in it...(i know i keep changing my mind lol)
Would appreciate some pics of stages for ideas if any one has any...

seems like purples and blues are the latest color trends in Pakistan and with the lighting effects and everything it looks awesome! I recently saw pics of a wedding and they looked fabulous!!

Hi everyone
I've finally ordered my mehndi outfit...decided to go for purple and rusty orange, an the rest of the girls in the family are going to be wearing bottle green with rusty orange!!!
Just need to sort out my brothers and the stage decorations...but feel like things are finally coming together!!!
