This question is for adults only and if you are disgusted easily, please don’t read ahead.
3 months ago I had jock itch. If you don’t know what that is, it’s like athletes foot, but in the groin region (around the region where legs meet your body). The jock itch is gone now, but it left dark patches of skin around my groin area. It’s not easily noticable, but a closer looks shows something “weird” happened here.
Ok here is the question. I went to the doctor and he told me that the dark patches of skin cannot be removed, they are here to stay. I am going to get married in a year or two (just a prediction). How exactly am I gonna explain this to the girl? Won’t she notice these dark patches of skin and ask what the hell happened here? Won’t she be disgusted? She’ll probably think I have an STD or something.
Please don’t give me unreasonable answers like “Talk to the girl about it before marriage”, because you know and I know that talking about sex in an arranged marriage isn’t really possible, or even advisable.
Well you can start by telling her what you told us. i am sure she will understand.
On a side note, did you just use anti-fungal creams or you added steroids to it tooo?

Why dont yu see some dermatologist and see what they say. i am sure there is something that can be done. I know that some physicians give steroids with Tinactin and i thought steroids are to make sure you dont have any marks left after the treatment. Not sure though.
dont worry about telling your wife right now...worry about the problem...see dermatologist and use anti-fungal cream...find out what it is and how u can cure it. But if it was a skin fungal then its gona stay forever!
hahaha..sorry..lol..ok ok..marry a blind girl or don't let her see that area of urs...i mean why would she need to see your grion area..think abt it..unless u wanna do oral but thats haram as declared by our guppie mullahs..so there u go..problem solved..but if u still wana do it...then do it in the dark..
Okie I hear that witch hazel is really great at removing scars they use to use it as antiseptic and to heal wounds, burns and rashes...it also lightens scars...
These days you get them in sticks like chapstick...however I dunno if it's okie to be used at the groin..but you say it's at the crease between your leg n groin rite? Then i dont thing it sould be a problem.
Even normal petroleum jelly is good for scarred rough skin.
Well, I googled around a bit and what I found out confirms what your doc says - they are very difficult to remove because the dark colour occurs in the middle layer of the skin (dermis). There are many creams in the market, but they are expensive and have not been proven to work. If you want to try a home remedy instead, here is a suggestion for you:
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup aloe vera gel
1 tsp of Vitamin E (liquid form)
1/2 tsp of Vitamin A (liquid form)
You can get vitamin oils at any pharmacy. Aloe Vera works - I had a scar resulting from an injury on my leg for years, but once I used aloe vera gel regularly on it, the scar faded away in weeks.
Skin Fungals are likely to recur, so take steps for prevention.
As for other options such as photo-rejuvination or laser treatments, you had better talk to some dermatologists.
I am not trying to derail or poke fun at your situation but please be careful in applying all these oils and gels in that area. You might derail your application.
I think your wife will be very understanding of the situation. You cant imagine it now, but I believe it wont even be an issue in the future.
If you wanted to lie (which I do not recommend), you can say it is a birthmark, but then your wife may ask your mother if you had a birthmark and if she says no, then you will get caught, and it will only lead to more suspicion. Stick with the truth, and it shall set you free...as they say. smile
