State control TV, PTV, is mouth piece of government. Mosharraf was first leader who allowed various independent media outlet and gave licences to them to run their channels.
Now, PTV is not longer seen by masses. Government funds and supports GEO TV, while Pakistan Army is pro ARY. One is PTV and other one is ISPR.
What do you think? What are other independent sources of news?

Yea I avoid Geo and ary as I think they both are biased on opposite sides. Duniya seems more impressive

You people might not have an idea, but Sindhi media remain quite neutral on these issues. I prefer to read columns in daily Kavish. Their News channels also doesn’t run behind sensation. so yes to KTN News.

PTV used to bad-mouth Shahbaz Shareef government constantly for 5 years when PPP was in power in Federal govt.
Now PTV is all praises of Punjab government since PMLN is in power in Federal govt.

First thing that Pakistan should do is bring in monopoly laws. Group that has electronic media should not be allowed print media and Vice Versa

Samaa, Dunya and Express are best for unbiased coverage.

Duniya n samaa are the most neutral one i have doubt on xpress since their management fired imran khan the anchor moeed pirzada n fawad chaudry on gov orders. N then it depends on anchors also they are pro gov n anti gov n some are neutral.

Yes forgot about that, all these three regularly spoke against government but they aren't sell out types by any means and so called democratic government couldn't take their criticism.

They don't even have such laws in america. Where would you get the journalists or the analysts even if you somehow get the money from chaudhries and malik riaz?
