Here we have 4 sections, Physical Sci, Writing Sample, Biological Sci & Verbal. Most questions are based on passages. Is that how it is in Pak as well..?

I wanna know this cuz I have merit for kEMC already, just wanna know if its the same exam..?

You mean you are applying as a foreign candidate and you just need to pass mcat , right ?
Well like I said they examine you in physics, chemistry, biology and english. And there are only multiple choice questions.
( KE is a boring place:bummer: )

sahi thanks, I took MCATs already and can apply for KE I think…just haven’t talked to anyone officially.

Actually, I like that place. My sis went there, depends who you make friends with.. that matters a lot in professional schools. Also, it has a history of its own…love the dome n everything, only thing is I’ll hv to stay THAT far from family..

hm u gonna live in hostel?if yes first hav a look at the hostel of KE miserable condition in a single room there r 14 gals and u can hardly walk or keep ur own things,so before deciding u better check the things in detail and when its said boring to its cause it has a bit dry of an atmosphere though it is a c lassy medical college yet there its only one thing and that is perhayiiiiiiiii
anyhow all the luck to u in whatever u decide
though KE is good AIMC,RMC r is equally good but depends k what u desire

yes, that’s what my advisor told me too, but firstly, my parents don’t want me to go to DO school, yep, very typical b/c they have an idea of DO as Pakistani Haddi-joor-sarak-walay dakter, and nothing can change that

Secondly, if I go to some other country, DO is not a recognized degree/profession there. This is basically a bigger reason for me. sigh

By the way, are you in medicine as well..?

do u know that i know DO’s who are more successful than Md’s? but if u can get into the md program, thats better..more reliable i guess

Last time i visited KE, girls had a new hostel near the Mayo’s emergency, so things aren’t that bad. Atmosphere is well that depends upon what u think “dry” is, but there are ample oppurtunities to enjoy.

And ofcourse you would be a KEMCOLIAN for rest of your life, this ain’t anywhere else.
