i found this one in the list of baby boys’ muslim names while searching for a few.. i loved the sound of it..does anyone know the maning of it? and how do we write in urdu/arabic ?? anyone??? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE:confused:

i did research online and all i get the meaning of this name... as SWEETPIP tells ..

But i have a book of name i have bookmark this page and will tell you tomorrow if i get something ..

My nephew's name is Ayaan and it means gift of God.

:blush: thanks GTG.. but one f my friends in the Middle East told me it is alif;ayen;yay;alif;noon :bummer: :bummer: cuz AYOON in arabic is related to EYES.. like in quratul-ain… 'aankhoan ki thandak’and so on.. :confused:

in urdu those spellings would mean manifested. ya as they say zahir.

why don't you remove the h and make it Ayaan? wouldn't that be ain, chhoti yay, alif altogether, and then noon?

if it’s like the word quratul-ain it should start with ayen not with alif (ain is eyes not al-ain).. it’s hard for me to comprehend alif before ayen because it will change the way we pronounce it, something like AayAN.

I am gonna stick with ayen,yay,alif, noon.. simple and sweet!

i would suggest that if u dont know the proper meaning of the name and dont know how to write it in urdu...u shudnt use this name either for ur baby or if u're gonna suggest someone this name..

there are plenty more beautiful muslims name...u just have to search for it.

as far as i know, i think a "muslim" name is defined as something out of the Quran? other than that, i read that the only stipulation is that the name have a good meaning. if you're muslim, the name doesn't have to be out of the Quran, but it also can't be made up or have a rotten meaning. so shaniqua's out. boo! :P
