“Sham” means light or sun… And “Riaz” means garden or devotion.
So… the light of devotion? Or the light of the Garden?

I think its combination of sham+ raiz = sham as in shamshir (which is a sword and literally means lion’s tail). raiz is as in lab-raiz (full of). I’m not sure, but I kinda feel that the name means brave / full of courage.

lab-rez = liquid that spills over the top/rim of a cup/glass or kinaaraa jaise lab-e-daryaa

sham is lion’s tail not lion itself. If someone can bring proper meaning of Tabrez, then the mystery of Shamrez can be solved

Can anyone tell me what the **** “Vaneeza” is supposed to mean.
My aunt was responsible for naming me, and I got saddled with this chiz.
So, what* does *it mean?
Is it supposed to be an Urdu version of Vanessa?
The only other time I heard this name on someone was with some chick named, “Vaneeza Ahmed”.

vaneeza seems like a combination of easy and van. but there must be another explaination, surely.
shamraiz = guy who gets rich by evening.
