Re: Meals
This reminds me our neighbors back in hometown. We have seen three meal concept at our home. There used to be nashta… normally chae paratha / biscuits (though our generation proved them expensive who demanded omelet as well).. the proper meal in lunch around 2 pm.. at night dinner near 9 pm.. It used to be milk with rice/ roti for buzrig log, but for others there used to be some daal/ vegetable item.
Now those neighbors never had lunch. The lady of the house used to keep roti 9made in morning) and if any of the children at hoem felt hungry, they took lassi / dahi (they had buffaloes at home) or achaar in noon.. Their lunch preparation started around 4-5 pm and they had main meal by maghrib and no dinner except milk.. But in some cultures milk in itself is a complete meal
