No sane person would agree with murdering innocent people.
But if someone insults wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the Sahaaba (May Allah be pleased with them) then that person deserves to be given the prescribed punishment by law in an Islamic country however I personally believe its wrong for every Tom, Dick and Harry to take the law into their own hands.

agree with u brother...
islam says dont insult anyone else's religion or hurt anyone's religious beliefs or even anyone's feelings...
any good Muslim whether shia or sunni wouldn't say mean things abt the other's beliefs...or even to Christians/Hindus etc...
but the sad thing is that because of the strong words used by some of our sunnis, so many young minds are misguided and then they go and kill innocent shias who are just normal middle class citizens trying to make ends meet and support their families...
i am sure it happens the other way round too, and shias also kill sunnis...
but i've personally seen some shia families who we knew personally back home suffer through this...

Sunni's who talk of unity, do you see the the crap that is coming out of their mouths? How can anyone who calls himself a Muslim tolerate words like these about the best generation of this Ummah?
[/QUOTE]
i'm sunni and confident of my beliefs alhamdulillah...and i am sure u r too...why should we get emotional about this? there r too many other things right now we could spend our energy on...rather than fighting over this with our shia fellow Muslims...
will their saying something change reality? or can it nauzubillah insult these great personalities? of course not...
there is no forcing in religion, they can think and believe what they want...
Allah will decide who is right and wrong on the day of judgement...
Astagferullah!!! Then you wonder why there's sectarian violence against you.
All that self-mutilation is getting to your heads; the rubbish you come out with is unbelievable. It’s all Shia propaganda from your fabricated Ahadith and History books that your 'product of Muta' Mullah’s feed you on.
At least you're not practising Taqiyya (hypocrisy/deception/lies) right now and your true colours are showing.
Sunni's who talk of unity, do you see the the crap that is coming out of their mouths? How can anyone who calls himself a Muslim tolerate words like these about the best generation of this Ummah?

Another bunch of lame accusations to ignore the questions raised to justify their fatwah to kill shia's..... Based on my posts earlier can you still justify ... killing shia's is what you can call true Islam Prophet Mohammad P.B.U.H. preach

You seem to be ignoring the points made on how sunni's get treated in iran.
I am glad you brought it up… its because of extermist mullah’s like you…who when can’t defend their own believes orders to kill the opponent… Its because of you people Islam has such practices… and the practice is allowed in Quran and practiced by Prophet’s earlier…
go look at this link and I hope in mind open you mind up…
I wish mullah’s like Saif ul Islam who feel proud in calling themselves extermist mullah were just able to understand this… rather then being their own Gods and order to kill other true muslims.
My cousin who prayed like sunnis pray in saudia was doing Taqiyyah..its too bad that he can't pray in the mosque like he prays at home..saudia main jaahilo ki kammi nahi hai..and human life has great importance in our religion..maybe not in ur wahabi beliefs

Where did I say killing Shia's was justified?
I'm not sure what the prescribed punishment for insulting the Sahaabah (Radhiallaho ahum) is, if there is one then any Shia who openly insults them should be punished.
And as for insulting the Lady Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her). Allah Ta'ala has already warned people not to insult her in the Quran and according to the consensus of the scholars anyone who rejects a Quranic verse is a Murtad and you know what the punsihment for apostasy is...
You seem to be ignoring the points made on how sunni's get treated in iran.

thats the first time i have heard such points..if sunnis don't have religious freedom in iran then i dont agree with it..but again thats the first time i have heard of that so i am not sure how accurate these points are

this is not a justification to kill shias though...
is this what the Muslim ummah will come down to? shia vs sunni...blood for blood, life for life...
how happy will the real enemies of Islam be when they see this...
in Islam each individual is responsible for his own actions...when you can't even give the son/father/mother/daughter a punishment for their loved ones, then how can you go and kill another shia in another country to avenge an injusice done to a sunni in iran?
if instead, we practised more kindness in return, though, maybe it would melt the hearts of those who are unjust to sunnis in iran and the overall picture would change..
show me that verse..and we can talk bout it..but we all know this woman had fought a battle with Imam Ali :as: which had killed many innocent muslims..but go ahead ingore this fact..afsos

So based in your definition Ayesha disobeying Quran who asks her to stay in her house in the verse 33:33 and she came to battle against Maula Ali was a Murtad.....
and Abu Bakr who took the fidaq from Bibi Fatima Zehra S.A. and asked her for witness.... even though quran has a verse on purity of Ahley Bait was a murtad because he doubted Quran by asking her for witness, implying he don't trust her words when Quran talks about purity on Ahley bait
I wasn't referring to it as a justification, I was referring to a point houstan ka chamchaa made.

Whatever he said... I never heard it in media so i don't want to get into it authenticity, nor have I been preached may any school or mosque to kill sunni's...but i personally have seen families who have lost their loved ones gettin killed in the mosque.... but I am sure you must have seen how sunni mullah preaches to kill shia's in this forum.......
Not one but several.... even though shia's are a minority in Pakistan, they are the one killed most....
*houstan ka chamchaa *
lol is that the best you could come up with.... rather then justifying acts of the extermist terrorist sunni mullah, and some sahabas Ii pointed out earlier.... Calling me names... thats the best you could come up with.

here you go some cut and paste of what fellow sunni guppies have to say about their own sunni scholars.... in this forum only.
"killing a shiaa is an act of sawab", said they whose beard went down to their chests and who were dresses as they were the best muslims on the face of the earth....
Our early scholars were of the opinion that anyone who openly insults Hazrat Abu Bakr Sideeq (May Allah be pleased with him) should be whipped and anyone who insults Hazrat Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) has committed kufr and should be killed.
Our neighbors in Lahore would not allow Shias in their house claiming they are kafirs. A influential local leader of Muslim League(N) and Jamaat-e-Islami, I don't want to quote his name in this forum was a good friend of my dadajaan.. used to narrate his dream of Sunni Pakistan. When asked where will Shias - 20% of Pak population would go, he would promptly say - India, Iran or heaven.
and if you want to see examples look at the quetta incident, there are numerous.... if you want to get into that.

I would still like you to answer the question…. If a person doesn’t respect some of the sahabas because they disobeyed Prophet for greed of wealth and placed their life more importance then his and ran away leaving Prophet P.B.U.H. and then on greed for khilafat leave the funeral services of Prophet Mohamamd P.B.U.H. and then takes away the wirsa of Bibi Fatima Zehara S.A. which she inherited from Prophet Mohammad… and on the greed of the wirsa asks her for witness from whose purification quran witnesses. A lady who disobeys Quran, which asks her to stay at home ayat 33:33, and she came to battle against Maula Ali. Insulting such peoples deserves punishment and
Hazrat Abu Talib who has the honor of raising Prophet Mohammad P.B.U.H. Hazrat Abu Talib, whose house has the honour that first dawaat - e- Islam was held at not in Qaba but at the house of Hazrat Abu Talib even though Qaba was in Mecca too...
Nauzubillah calling such a person kaffir doesn’t diserve punishment?
here you go some cut and paste of what fellow sunni guppies have to say about their own sunni scholars.... in this forum only.

Putter I was just trying to bring forth points and thoughts that prevails in our own society..
Frankly, I was myself afraid to visit Mohalla Shiaan in Lahore.. I don't know Qaid-e-Azam dreamt of Sunni Pakistan or what, but Shia-Sunni divide is one bitter reality of our nation whether we choose to accept it or wish blame it on foriegn forces.. 1997 recorded hightest number of killings - both Punjabi-Pathan Vs. Mohajir Killings and Shia sunnis killings - both in Punjab and Karachi.. I have two friends in Southern California.. Both from Pakistan and only 2 blocks away from each other.. they don't talk to each other cuz one of them is a Sunni and other a Shia. If we still try to blame India for their differences, Allah khair karey !!

I quoted you just to reference rally on the shia killings in Pakistan thats all man... Personally I am against shia and sunni killings, thats why during the forum I emphasized when Prophet Mohammad P.B.U.H. didnt order to kill the lady who threw stones at him...who are some extermist to issue shia's or vice versa.
after seeing all these replies i wish i had never opened this thread....
i hoped for the complete opposite but it seems i have triggered another of those idiotic "sunni kaafir and shiaa kafir" debates....
will any MOD relieve me of further agony and throw a lock on this PLEASE....
