Yar I dont mean to get a bunch of Mulla McKenzie’s riding my rear end, but I believe the relationship between Allah and man (the term includes women) is quite flexible. Allah has defined the path and asked us to follow, for our own good. It doesn’t benefit Him but us. Now with regards to the specifics of which hand to wipe your butt with and which hand to eat with, there are quite many other much significant issues that we tend to forget. Being a good and responsible human is the toughest of the jobs. Faith is not just bashing those who don’t believe what you believe, faith is realizing, understanding and fulfilling your duties towards your fellow human beings. To me, being a hypocrite mulla and issuing fatwas is not faith, being a humble human who respects others’ rights is faith. That is what Allah asks of you.
And Allah has a very personal relationship with every single soul. Just because someone had a 4 foot beard and wore a green robe doesn’t make him a better person than you, nor does it prove that he is/was closer to Allah than you. The worst part is to believe that some dead mulla can help you establish better relationship with Allah or convince Allah to grant you what He otherwise doesn’t intend to. To me it is lack of common sense and an impurity of faith. Allah is inside of us, he stays within our souls, he knows us and he hears us. Keep that relationship alive, keep the bond strong, and you will find the answers within yourself without the need to ask the Mullas.
Alright, that is too much philosophical mumba jumba for me for an entire week ![]()
PS: Any Mullas provoked and wanting to argue on this and enlighten my sinful soul, my mind is closed to criticism/suggestions, please dont bother.
