as someone said "God is everywhere and can hear our thoughts..." and i recall someone one telling me "ur thoughts are just as bad/good as ur actions if not worst"

if i am praying (namaz) in my mind.. does it still count?
in asking cus on occassions i wake up and ive been praying Fajr in my mind.. but ive not done the actions..
