sharara is the one which is like a skirt -
gharara has two legs and
ghagra is the one which comes has a bit straight from above till the knees and then has chunats neechay say...i.e. like in the ppic..?

no yar... ghagra is different from what u wrote. i dono how to explain. :( . well let me think how can i explain in better way then i'll tell u.

^ haha - ok jee i'll be waiting; and it would be great if you tell me about other styles of ghagras/gararas and shararas since i will be Inshallah going to Pakistan this summer and i can get them stitched from there since quiet a few weddings are happening here in sept..

Karachi, Lahore/Islamabad and Quetta as well for few days; what about you?
Karachi is where i live actually - and few of my friends are in Isloo so i might visit them there...My father wanted us to see Quetta since we havent seen it and he went there for a few days so he is keen of us going with him for some time..lahore is yet doubtful though

one of my friend get this type of gharara done from mohsin sons in red, mehroon and mehndi green combination. her dupatta was full of work. dupata and shirt were in red colour. the lower part of gharara was mehndi green and upper part in mehroon. all coverd with beads work. it looks very nice on her wedding.

gharar is called do thango walla and sahrara is kind of lehga
Gharar is IN nowaday
