The spy got released, does it not show you that President did exercise his "power"? However, President should use such powers for innocents, not criminals.
First of all, Kashmir Singh was not criminal (unlike Manjit Singh who other than spying was also involved in terrorism). He was spying for his country in same way many Pakistanis must be spying for Pakistan. Kashmir Singh would have been traitor if he was Pakistani working for another country, not if he was Indian working for India against Pakistan. Being spy caught in Pakistan still do not make him criminal but he stays spy, and we can have whatever laws against spy of another country caught in Pakistan, still should not treat them as criminals or traitors.
As for those criminals and traitors (these retarded Mullah brigades) who are suppose to be Pakistani, but working for another country (Afghanistan or for the agenda of Saudia) or working against Pakistani interest (using Pakistani soil to wage their misguided war in neighbouring country without consent of Pakistan government), fighting Pakistani government forces and laws, trying to impose their will over other Pakistanis and spreading fitna in Pakistan, they are criminals and deserve hanging without pardon. It is because they are not doing any service to their country but are sabotaging their own country Pakistan, not obeying the laws of the country they live, and making the life of other Pakistanis miserable.
