These cricketers have to be the biggest losers in the history of Pak cricket...

Honestly, What the F is the matter with cricket in Pakistan these daysZ?!?!?!

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

yaar all hopes r gone now …v lost due to some stupid players like hafeez n misbah

i wanna kill them :mad2:

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

^ Dont forget Afridi.

Technically we are still not out. England beats SA and than NZ and Pak beats SA (Yeah Right ) we could go through on run rate.

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

Afridi's shot was not a harsh shot this time ......n that catch was a suspect

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

So the tullaybaz champion finally delivered, didn't he? :D

oh, I meant Afridi delivered the cup

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

^ His leadership has been below par throughout the tournament and he has personally failed to deliver with bat.

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

well at least the captaincy debate is settled. we finally found an aggressive captain who leads from the front and is a genius tactician. not like the pansies who were our former captains. thank God we didn't have to sack him after every over.

Afraidi did so well Mashallah. led from the front. batted with responsibility utilizing all his 12-13 years of international experience. I mean who'd ever seen that brilliant trap of bowling a short ball with a fielder at square leg before? man, that was brilliant by Butler. a lot of people are going to copy this brand new innovation. and of course, he bowled brilliantly throughout the tournament. didn't lose his composure. came up with excellent plans on the field.

plus kind of surprised that the fanboys haven't opened multiple threads over the the streaks in his hair? if golden streaks in the hair of a 35-36 year old man(-child) who never shuts up about his seniority as a player don't show maturity, then I don't know what does. he looked so beautiful Mashallah.

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

Good thing about the tournament is the emergence of Butt and Sami.

Today, Salman Butt fought like a Warrior.

Team lost due to no vision and leadership.

:k:

Watch Salman against SA attack then you can come back whether he is still 'warrior' or not :) But yeah credit to him for fighting it out.

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

Razzak also contributed. Other wise butt can not turn it. main culprits are akmals and stupid misbah.

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

Through out the tournament Salman has been the star batsman for Pakistan.

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

The team lost because they did. Why do we need to read between the lines all the time? If you have this little faith in this team than why even bother watching the game? They fought till the last ball but lost. Simple. Now zip it and let's focus on other "actual" problems in hand in Pakistan.

Re: May 8 - ICC World T20 2010 - Pak vs NZ

I think…Pakistan are a fake champion…they only win matches…series…tourneys and championships when the wind blows in their favor…thus by chance though…

Actually…there is no foundation and structure in Pakistan cricket…mainly thanks to the management…and above all the crisis management… :jhanda:

There are reasons to be a champion…you don’t start losing for ages immediately after becoming the world champion…hmmmmmmmmm

PS: Was it wise to send Rehman after Razzaq…Ajmal could have been better bet…provided you are playing a chance game…

The team is 'representing' Pakistan's problems i.e. leadership having no vision or planning, everyone wants authority without accountability etc.

This whole team is pathetic... Even the players that play well one day, play like a bunch of amateurs the next.

There is something very wrong with Pak cricket on a much deeper level.

The point is, it should not have come to that. 133 should have been a regulation chase, a stroll but Pakistan's current batting is so bad that they made it look like they were chasing 180+!

Had we been chasing something like 170+ and gone down fighting, I would have agreed with you

Wow…you are still expecting a miracle for a team literally walking on crutches…physically and mentally…hmmmmmm

Its called mental strength.

Well...in this match...the captaincy did not fail...Afridi kept his promise to restrict NZ around 130 runs...it was the top order batting with the exception of Butt failed...

PS: A captain has some 80% influence while his side is fielding...and only 20% while his side is batting...
