Don't blame Rahman - it was his first game, the poor chap did not play a single dot ball till the last ball -- blame Misbah, and Afridi and Hafeez if you have to. Not Rehman just becuase he was the last person you saw ..

I hate to say this but I think mathematically Pak is not eliminated yet. Eng has to win against SA and NZ and Pak will have to win against SA. Run rate will be the factor in the end. Pak run rate is just OKAY not terrible
Currently England is destroying SA and looking very good. Yes Yes I know we don't deserve to be in semis but I do see a glimmer of hope and I will take anything at this point. If Eng manage to beat SA then I say we have 20 percent chance of qualifying :D

I agree with you in a way but if you haven't played a ball then let the batsman who is holding it so far do the job instead of you trying to be a hero then turning out to be the big zero.
But for the loss I wouldn't blame it on him alone, I'd rather blame Akmals, Afridi, Misbah (though this time he was unlucky for wrong LBW). Kudos to Butt for fighting it out. I didn't watch match luckily so I don't know what happened in middle overs when we were batting but looks like run-rate was too low and that took the toll in the end.

Pakistan have only themselves to blame. They made a real mess of what should have been a regulation chase at this level. If they cannot chase down a below par 133, they simply do not deserve to win T20 or any tournament. Thanks to Salman Butt we made it into a close game despite yet another batting failure.
Our batting is unbelievably bad. On the evidence of their pathetic batting displays so far in the competition, Pakistan w'd not have beaten South Africa, Sri Lanka or Australia/England (they were bound to meet one of these two teams again) anyways. So better be eliminated now than at a later stage when it w'd have been even more heart-breaking..
The bottomline is Pakistan's batting cannot exceed 150 which u need to beat teams like Aus, Eng, Sri, and RSA.
T20 also requires a team to be bold and aggressive. Pakistani team were were simply not bold or innovative enough. With 4 wickets in hand, Abdur Rehman should have been instructed by Afridi/Waqar and also by the non-striker Salman Butt to take some chances in the 18th/19th over rather than just nudging singles...even an edge can go for 4. Pakistan just left themselves too much to do in the final over
And Thank God our misery is finally over..
i am too uspet and disappointed that pak lost but atleast it was just by one run–agar 7/8 wickets se harta tou???..and not to forget salman butt-he played an awesome innings-well done sallu

but still yaar it counts a lot whether a team lost by 100 runs or by just one run.
but in the end we lost it so abhi eng pe bharosa rako...shayad koi chamatkar hohaye.
