It has been two years since the fateful day when the May 12th carnage by the MQM took place on the orders of a senile dictator in a desperate bid to assert power. Let us remember those that died in the fight against the dictatorship and its cronies, and pray that these fascist terrorists are never allowed to carry out such a genocide again.

Re: May 12 - 2 years since the carnage
i have a question- why CJ is silent on that issu. those people give their life for his restoration and now when he is restored he silent on the issu. this prove one ponit keep away from politcs no one will shid a tear on your QABER. Allah on sab ko Jantol firdos me jaga de awor katilo ko Isi donia me roswa kari
Re: May 12 - 2 years since the carnage
Ameen SumAmeen.
Its funny how people are ignoring this terrorist organization. Which also took the life of my cousin, and devastated his family for life. I still remember his Janazah, we could not look inside the coffin because the body was decapitated.
May Allah give maghfirah to their souls, and rid Pakistan of this lunacy of a political party. Ameen.
Re: May 12 - 2 years since the carnage
ive been out of touch for a few years, can anyone tell me if this level of friction existed between MQM and Imran before the May 12th incident ?
I know its been really complicated by lots of factors now, but was that where it started ?
its 2009, the country is at war and we still have our heads stuck in the past.
Spock you forget that some of those victims also belong to the MQM and that quite a few ANP/PPP supporters were armed and firing guns?
tell me one thing are they upset because they are genuine victims or because they were the ones with themost victims?
when you go to a peaceful protest armed it means you are looking for trouble. the MQM were nt the only armed ones.
i dont agree with having may 12 as public holiday. its just rubbing salt in peoples wounds. what if people decided they want revenge for that day? what if people decide to use it as a day to settle scores?

BS! We all know who started this carnage, and why and on whose orders, so please dont give us that crap. About it being a thing of the past, learn to read, I said we have to prevent such genocides from happening in the future, which by the way does not mean terrorism goes unpunished just because it dates back to an event happening two years ago.

If CJ ever takes a suo moto action on May 12, the entire MQM will start jumping up and down just as if someone has stepped on snake's tail. So it's just the fear that MQM will start a movement to break Pakistan apart or at least will try to take Karachi away. I hope that they can never succeed in their mission regardless of how much money and support they get from RAW and Mosad. Karachi is mini Pakistan and will always remain the city for all Pakistanis not for only one ethnic group.
Re: May 12 - 2 years since the carnage
^ True, even if neutral figures like those policemen who admitted the MQM was behind the carnage a few days ago in the guise of Taliban were being threatened both politically and non-politically to be silent. The MQM is clearly the Taliban of the south.
The people who killed so many innocent people will face their lord one day and will be punished. They can run but they can't hide. They will burn in hell forever.
Re: May 12 - 2 years since the carnage
atleast people who have criminal record should be held accountable to avoid the situation in future. i donot see any attempt by any mulk bachao tehreek to initiate that. most probably these pests will continue to wreck havoc if they go unchecked.

Trying to convince yourself with your own version of events aren't you?

Disagreeing with corrupt policemen does not equal to taliban atrocities in any sane person's mind.
right and the ANP and PPP supporters were showering flowers in the air. both sides had their hands dirty. both sides went with violent intentions.
may 12 is a minor incidet in pakistans history.
should we punish the army for 1971?
should we punish the PPP and the army for their brutal handling of the baloch uprising in the 70's?
the list goes on and on.

Genocide? If you really believe that, I suggest you add May 12 to the list of genocides on wiki Genocides in history - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Let us know if Wiki or anyone takes that seriously.
Oh so little green men from mars came and killed those people in broad day light.
hahah just cuz the policemen exposed the fake talibanuzation rant of altaf bhai makes them corrupt LOL! funny how their corruption wasnt made an issue until they spoke out as to whose behind this talibanization crap.
Sure, do so, why are you asking me for permission?
aah,
Musharraf and the MQM are angels. p.s. you might think the death of 30-40 ppl in a show of force isnt a genocide, I think it is.

Everyone knows may 12 was instigated by criminals in the ANP. Why else do you think they were carrying guns in "peaceful" rally of so-called "khudai khidmatgars"? Honest police officers in Sindh have already exposes the activities of jihadi/talib gangs in Karachi. Come to Karachi (I don;'t think you've ever stepped foot in karachi) and I will take you to Little Waziristan and Wana colony to see for yourself taliban influence. Just brush up on your pashtu beforehand.
