I dont - Seriously I dont understand this Pakistani Crowd .... If Ulma sit in their mosques and only take care of religious activities , we blame them for doing nothing and not contributing to the society in a positive manner ...

And when they do - like Mulana Tariq Jameel in this case .... we blame them for associating themselves with rulers .... And bring out of context hadees to prove our point of view ...

O Allah k Bando or Bandiyo - visiting some one for preaching the right path/ offering help to resolve a grave situation is not like associating with them ..

because 90 is just one or two blocks away from Madni Masjid (tableeghi markz in karachi), his visit definitely beneficial for common people of Azizabad who dont come to shab-e-jumma and off course Hidyah can only be given by Allah. Moulana sahib tried his best.

The fact that you Nomica posted the video criticizing Sh. Hamza for meeting Bush after 9/11 is a proof that people don't like scholars meeting up with politicians, and after that we never saw him meeting up with any ruler in White House.

After a while, I'd revive this thread because only time can prove if Maulana Jamil can change these politicians with his magic wand. I have no respect for someone associating with corrupt politicians and I'm not going to change my views.

My point of posting the video was…that scholars DO visit politicians…and Many do…there is nothing wrong as long as they are not taking part in politics (like the Jamat islami or JUI creatures)… just because you don’t like that particular molvi doesn’t make him wrong/evil…
