Nauzibullah Are shias kafir?
Who told u brother Shias are Kafir ?
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
No I don't claim they are Kaffir my whole point is in the above video Maulana Ishaq answered the questions and ruled out they are not. Its an interesting one to watch.
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
Any Muslim that claims that the Quran is either incomplete or that someone else will bring the true Quran, despite being told by Allah :swt: that the Quran can never be altered, in my view is a Kaffir, for he holds Allah :swt:'s promise as a lie…
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
Shias are not kafirs, unless they do what Lajawab is saying...
However, I fwded this to many people and they said that some sources were incorrect, and I myself have been trying to find out what. There is something fishy about the sources being used no doubt...
But inshallah i'll try to find out exactly what.
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
Brother, which ayat’s of quran says if you curse on Shaba you will become Kafir? Sipha e shaba (A Militant group of Pakistan) tried their level best to make their point but unfortunately due to high level of illiteracy among their leadership didn’t prove anything to the general public of Pakistan except killing other sects folks. The truth of the matter is once you said ‘**I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (pbuh) is the servant and Messenger of Allah Then You are Muslim no matter which school of though you are from you are Muslim. No doubt Shabas of Rasool Allah are very respectful however I didn’t read or listen from any high spiritual status scholar that bear witness on Shaba and their character is wajab on every single Muslim if someone didn’t bear witness on Shaba then he/she out of Islam.

[FONT=Times New Roman]And when it is said unto them (Kuffars): Believe as these people [Sahabah (r.a)] believe; they say:
[FONT=Times New Roman]Shall we believe as these foolish believes? Alert! they (Kuffars) are the foolish but they know not.** **
Surah Baqrah
[FONT='Times New Roman']Once Maalik was asked about them and he replied, "Do not speak to them nor narrate from them, for surely they are liars." [Minhaaj as-Sunnah, 1/37] During a class of Imaam Maalik, it was mentioned that the Raafidite Shi`ites curse the Sahaabah. In reply, he quoted the Quranic verse, "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him are harsh with the disbelievers and gentle among themselves. So that the disbelievers may become enraged with them." He then said, "Whoever becomes enraged when the Sahaabah are mentioned is one about whom the verse speaks." [Tafseeer al-Qurtubee, Soorah al-Fath; Editor’s note: That is, anyone who is enraged by the mention of the Sahaabah is a dsibeliever, because the verse says, "…the disbelievers may become enraged with them (Sahaabah)."]
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
Mr. Lajwab it easy to make false accousations as long as you don’t have to give references… All you said is a bunch of lies or more like the rumors spread to degrade one. We all shia believe in the Quran and the following ayat is revealed in the Quran
“Today I have perfected your religion and completed my favour upon you, and I was satisfied that Islam be your religion.” (Qur’an 5:3)
Quran itself testifies that it is complete, and we all believe on that. Please provide references before you make accousations.
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
Anyone who believes that the Holy Book is altered is a Kaifr. No doubt. Furthermore Shias respect the companions of the Prophet. But companions are those individuals who remained loyal to the Ahle-Bayt. Anyone who deviated from the true path and insulted the status of the Ahle-Bayt must be censured.
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
I think it is very easy to call Kafir anyone in in this century
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
anyone who explicitly negates the basic principles of Islam is a Kafir. Corruption of the Holy Book is an example.
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
guys this thread is not about whose kaffir and whose not, its about sectarian unity and how we can promote it. Focus on the topic in a postive light for once.
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
But isn’t anyone who treats hadith (the sorting through the reported words of what others reportedly heard someone say they reportedly heard the prophet say or do) as major a source for following Allah’s commands doing exactly that?
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
really im amazed at the genereal level of understanding of Islam here. Quran is complete in the sense that every surah and ayat was intact, is intact and will remain intact. Quran is 'incomplete' in the sense that it remains silent on certain issues such offering Salat. That is Prophet's(saw) job to explain the details of the religion to us.
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
That would leave only 3 or 4 people while the other 124,000 or so should be censured…
Seems the Prophet :saw: did a messed up job of teaching Islam for so many to be censured according to Shia beliefs…
That in itself according to Sunni beliefs is tantamount to Kufr as we believe that the Holy Prophet :saw: was the best of examples and he himself mentions that his companions are the best of the best of people and a couple of them (that Shias despise) have been specifically honoured with their mention in the Holy Quran by Allah :swt:…
Re: Maulana Ishaq views on shia and sunni
Seminole, the religion of Christianity is based on this same pretext…The New Testament, like I said before, is a book of Ahadith by Jesus :as: penned 300 or more years after his departure…
Will you say that following what one heard the other say so and so has nothing to do with religion?
If you are a proponent of this view, then you should discard the Bible…
