from the promos this one is looking pretty interesting, and after humsafar the audience is back....seems like the glory days of pak tv are returning :)
They will be disappointed. It would turn out to be another filmed in overseas drama.

I dont like the girl who plays ebads cousin and his intended fiance's acting. She does not know how to act at all. Her delivery is stunted.

OMG what is that lady's name who is playing Hanniya's mom! She used to come on PTV a long time ago and has returned to the screen after a HUGE gap!!! Go Mehreen :)

Mehreen Jabbar shd take a cue from Humsafar and highlight the emotional quotient of her productions with a solid background score. The cast for this serial is a decent ensemble but I somehow get the impression that she likes to treat her productions as indie hollywood ones i.e. with minimal lighting and zero melodrama.

Cast is solid.....but i dont really like the camera angles......the humsafar and maat shootings were really good. I wonder if zthey have to compromise on camera crew when shooting in another country. Please spend the extra money to take the crew with you to pakistan...
Also the lady that pLays amma jaani (haaniya's dadi) lookz way too young. Could be excellent dye job but they should have chosen younger ppl to play the parents of Haaniya and Yamina.
Looks like it will take some effort to watch this drama. I do like Sarwat gillani amd Adeel Hussains acting so far

The camera work is in sync with contemporary independent projects from all over the globe, it gives the serial a very cinematic appeal, so that imo is alright....but they could have done some work on the music and lighting. I'm liking it so far, let's see what the rest of the episodes have to offer.
I'm guessing that this one is going to be a breakout production for Sanam Saeed. She's doing her bit effortlessly and looks good on the screen.

What bothered me the most in his drama today was the makeup.. too cakey.. too heavy.

The females look good and looks Luke Mehreen put in a lot of effort but I haven't really been reeled in yet. It will take a bit of effort to watch this one. After Humsafar's success you know the whole production team is was trying to produce another winner. With Humsafar they were concerned with producing a blockbuster.....unfortunately Mehreen has huge shoes to walk in....I really want to fall in love with this one. Adeel looks A bit different but don't know if I like the look. Actually Ahsan khan looks different too but again don't knowing I like the look. I am thinking they could have cast Danish Taimur but really don't know how his Englishn is. He would have looked more like Hina B and Javaid sheikh 's son. Hina looks stunning.

Usually the first one or two episodes introduce the character and set the scene anyway and it was an okay episode .
The camera shots/ effects is meant to give a contemporary look .... but it wasn't done properly, I'm talking about the editing. In the first scene the camera focuses upon everything but Haniya's face.
Anyway , Sarwat Gilliani is the type of girl that can fit into this kind of role I mean as a pakistani American and she's looking good as Haniya. Sanam Saeed's acting and accent is good.
I'm liking Ahsan Khan actually preferring him to Adeel

I LOVED the camera angles etc! I am so sick of the zoom-into-face, straight camera angles that you see in most dramas. I loved the shot mehreen took from outside the house, where she focused on the fall leaves outside first before focusing onto the home. I don't think the makeup is caked up at all. Sarwat is looking really pretty. Regarding Ibad... he looks awful in both Mora Piya and this drama. His face is so sunken in, like he is a junkie or smth. whatever unhealthy thing he is doing, he needs to STOP doing

Mehreen has def worked on Sarwat. She is looking and ACTING the part. I actually liked her.
The dad acted weird, so does the girl in pakistan and so does her mom. =\ I mean just because they might not be important characters doesn't mean we should have to tolerate such bad acting.
Ahsan Khan looks like he's doing something new, wonder what his role is. don't telllll.
Oh I hate the Adam guy too. Can't act. arghhhhh. Sanam Syed, amazing as usual.

I think it has a lot of potential. I will watch it.
I like the cinematography too. Pakistanis are really breaking out and being creative. It's a treat to be an audience member these days!

the writer is Farhat Ishtiaq, what did you expect ? I was expecting a lot more actually:p Thankfully Mehreen doesn't like overly dramatizing stuff so I think such clicked dialgues by Farhat might actually be tolerable.

I really liked the first episode, especially because of it being so fast paced. Don't like Sarwat at all but she did grow on me.
About Adeel, he certainly looks sick or something, however his acting skills are awesome.

i really like the first episode. good acting, and also directing is not bad (Camera was shaking in many scenes, or may be i am expecting 110% from Mehreen), but overall good plot, good screenplay, good editing, good acting…especially that churhail Adam

novel was very boring but her plots and deep monologues provides a lot of room for dramatization and cinematography...but even with a good script its a team work which if they haven't their homework prior to actually go on the shoot, one can easily see loopholes.
