^ same here. wondering what Mata means in Urdu.
And if someone can post a brief synopsis in the Spoilers thread since I found the novel to be oh so boring to read past the first few pages.

Mata is wealth/valuable in Urdu as we say Maal o Mataa. Mata e Jaan can be translated as Haasil e Zindagi.
Huma Akbar is a talented actress. She played all her roles with excellence. Be it SukhaaN - a folk singer from Tharr of Karwaan, Converted Muslim Angelina of Shaheen, successful working woman of Khaleej or kidnapped college girl of long play Badalte Qalib (the famous line by Uzma Gilani- Laali Chaar ana de). She left her acting career after marrying with Zeba Bakhtiyar's brother who played her father in Khaleej.
^ Who is Huma Akbar in this drama? Looking forward to this one from Mehreen Jabbar! Didn't like the OST though, the singer, tune and lyrics can be best described as average! Daam, Malaal and even Neeyat OSTs were way better!
after listening to waqar ali creation how can v like a medicore OST especially humsafar n meri zaat zare benishan hai anyhow i also dont know who is huma akbar but she is playing sarwat's mum role
