OMG! Listen to this. When my older daughter was a few months old, I was invited to someone’s pre-Hajj party, and some aunty whom I’d never met before told me that her head was ugly and that I should fill a bag with rice and have my kido sleep on it. Hai hai, iska sar toh bana hi nahi. Aaj kal ki maa toh in chizoN ki fikar hi nahi karti.

I used to live with my mother in law at the time and bless her soul, she never forced her viewpoints on me if she sensed a resistance on my part. So when I told her and my hubby about what tha aunty said, hubby asked me to tell her that auntyji, your head is still shaped badly so maybe you should try to sleep on a chawal ki bori instead!

i cant imagine you saying that to some aunty but i know TLK wouldnt have a problem saying it
