It will only spoil the friendship. It isto be living in another Utopia if we believe that the relation is never going to be change and will remain as rosy and lovely as it used to be. People change according to the nature of relationship. Dont they?

Friendship itslef is a matter of time testing. Not always the people you come across can be friends. It may take ages, and yet one day you will cometo know that they were just as good as strangers for you.

Hmmm that's a difficult question. I would say NO, Do Not marry your best friend. It could end up being a twisted sorta relationship after getting married. Being friends is one thing and living together is another. One would be used to the special treatment as friends and it may not always come from the spouse. Again this is difficult to answer as all individuals and relationships vary.

Miraj: well mine are quite seasonal, but yet eternal, ofcourse apart from the one’s in family circle. NOt the kind to hold on forever since u know with the currents of life we always drift apart here and there. I guess the question I’m posed with is what is a best friend.
For me, its someone u don’t fear sharing nothing with and can share ur happy sad moments alike, and when u’re together, u rarely feel the need of another. Hmm… I guess I should ask Mirch to open up a thread to categorize the type’s for friends (or maybe he did already) :hmm:

Icono brought about a point to think over, yes. Its the spouses who should make an effort and turn their relation into friendship. It might work. Atleast this is what mostly one can witness. Changing of the friendhip into a marriage, im afraid, will be a complete disillusionment. But you never know with the expectional cases, since there are some, always.
