Marrying at a young age!

Re: Marrying at a young age!

God help me I wanna die because that was not even serious. It was a sarcastic comment. Jesus christ people. Let me burn in hell before I decide to come to Life 1 to post ever again !

Re: Marrying at a young age!

I agree with those who say it's up to the individual. Some ladies I know were mature enough to get married at 18, whereas I didn't feel ready or mature enough to be in a relationship.

I think if you can meet someone you know you will live with happily and they understand your needs (e.g. the desire to get an education, delay babymaking etc etc) then getting married at 18 ain't a big deal at all.
I know a lady (whose now near her pension) who was married at 13, came to the UK at 14 (I assume her real date of birth was never put on her travel documents back in the day). She became a widow in her 40s, and never remarried. She said the happiness she had with her husband is enough to last her until her last breath. Okay so this was back in the day however the same rule would still apply to someone who is say 18. Noone can stop kismet, and if you fall for someone at the age of 18 why wait until your 21 or 30?

lol, poor girl.

True but my only concern is that at this age 18-20 you are not that mature or focused about life so how will you manage all the changes that come with marriage?

^jab insan pe padhti hai toh wo sab kuch seekh samajh leta hai...

Re: Marrying at a young age!

^ totatlly agree with that
my mom got married at 18, she didnt want to at all - and she's dead set against me marrying at a younger age ... so it depends of person to person - if someone is mature enough to handle a marriage and if they've found a spouse who supports your decisions why not?
