How do you feel about marrying a half paki and half (lets say white) girl or a boy, and they have been raised in pakistan, are muslim and even their mother or father converted to islam before getting married. And their parent even reside in Pakistan. But they still keep in touch with their other half, i mean with family and stuff

People get real, marry who YOU want no matter what he or she is, paki or not, muslim or not, whatever floats your boat.
Amidst all other things being considered for marriage, like compatibility in things considered important, this half-pakistani thing should be a non-issue.
I once considered a half Pakistani-half Italian guy. I looked at his other qualities, though some extended family members did think it was a bit peculiar. But my immediate family liked him very much. smile
Ghaz, you’re right. A person needs to be judged on factors other than the nitty-gritty of whether he is 1/2 or 1/3 or 1/4 or 1/8 or 1/100th-part Pakistani or whatnot.

about this...it was just a simple question as to what ppl's opinions about it where. in our culture, it is not a very common thing to marry a non-desi or even a half paki, just asking everyone's opinon.. no one said they are/aren't going act (marrry) upon it.

But im a Muslim Alhumdolilah.
Uhmm i live in Holland with my hubby.
And yes he still be in touch with his family i n Pak.
Im not so related with my family in Surinam and never gone their.
I really like to go their with my mom.

GHAZ-i don't think you care much becaz you are not half, and you don't care what ppl think about this issue while "I M" on the other hand, i m half pakistani and half american. My mom is white and we live in lahore, pakistan and we are not easily accepted every where, i mean it took a while for my dads family to accept my mom.

well ghaz just anyone can float YOUR boat while mine at least can't with just anybody to you it might not matter it is a muslim or not but i think some of us out there do.....so don't speak for everyone
