Re: married ppl......money problems..

We have a joint account for all the bills and easy access to money for the wife and myself. I never questioned my wife why/where she used money. She doesn't work and is a full-time house maker. She had a habit of taking some cash from the joint account each month. It turned out to be that she had collected about $20K. I suggested her to put this money into a bank account. I opened her personal account and deposited all the money there. She somehow doesn't use any money from that account. Sometimes I wonder what's her agenda toward all this personal saving. She calls it all her money and I am fine with it.
I don't think there should be any barrier when it comes to money between a husband and wife. However we husbands do expect our wives to use the money wisely.

Re: married ppl......money problems..

yea right whtever.....i thnk all men r jst tryng to be nice here

Re: married ppl......money problems..

^ no I don't. Are you saying that I am trying to win any award here?
We need to respect each other and have some tolerance. That is all.

Re: married ppl......money problems..

a husband shud give his wife all the money she wnats if he cant den he shud let her earn herself. stupid tight ass men

and i believe u n every other hsbnd out there has every right 2 expect that 4rom their biwis. i wouldnt want my future husband to blow off my hard-earned money on fazool karchi. so he has full right 2 expect that 4rom me. lots of pakistani women just like 2 spend n spend just 2 fulfill their selfish n greedy desires.. like buying expensive clothes, furntiure n jewellery.. such wome’s shohars need 2 put their foot down!:nessy:

Re: married ppl......money problems..

^^ i dnt gt ur point here..but its ok,....
either ur against men or women..but its nt clear

'

yes i agree with ansoon, after marriage, its us...our money........even if both are earning, its our.......one and the same thing.......

yeah even though i earn, but still we do have a joint account and my husband says that his money is my money and my money is good to save in case the need arises or when we buy a bigger house.....i am open to spend and take out money when ever i wish to so that i way i dont have to ask my husband to give me money.......

yeah i agree with sheyn, its now ur husbands responsibility to take care of all ur needs, plus doesnt ur husband say anything when u ask ur parents

Re: married ppl......money problems..

my husband pays for everything, my money is mine but he encourages me to save for myself. we also have a joint account for joint savings........he's never denied me anything, which is sweet and if something i feel is a bit OTT in price i go get it myself (i,e shoes and bag and clothes lol ) xx
