Was in central london last night and a man starts chatting to me, good looking seemed normal, i got rather excited - ego boost etc until he says.
Hey look I am married ( then he points to his ring ) but PLEASE have a drink with me ?
what the hell?? I am not sooo good looking that every man is leaving their wife running after me, im your average looking pakistani girl. I was just minding my own business I didnt even look at him until he came to talk to me. Its just so absured!
why would a man announce he is married and then say ‘hey pleasssee have a drink with me?’ is cheating THIS easy now a days? do men think women are this easy?? im confused
(p.s. before i get told off I dont drink unless its a non alcoholic mocktail )
the fact that he clarified his status leads to two possible intentions
He really just wanted to have a drink, chat and nothing more, so he wanted to clarify that even though I am asking you to join me for a drink, I am not trying to lead you to you anything.
He was taking his chances to see if he could win you over regardless of his status.
cant comment unless entire conversation and body language etc are factored in too. maybe he thought you were interested in him, and hence he quickly pointed out le ring? maybe he wanted to take you to his car and show you le backseat. could be anything the way this is put.
The place was a 'lounge'. quite low music and a place to go after dinner to socialise.
I walked in with friends and did not notice him I did scan the room to 1. look at the crowd and 2. find some seats but i dont remember eye contact with anyone.
Me and 1 friend went to sit at our seats and 2 friends went to get our drinks + chocolate fondant (nom)
I noticed him approaching when he was about 2 meters away he came and shook my hand and my friends hand and introduced himself with his name - muslim name - he asked if he could sit with us so he sat on a different seat opposite my friend and I.
He was a little flirty and me and him had a little banter and I was flirting back - he was very attractive.
He then says to me ' hey inspiron let me buy you a drink we can have a chat and tried to take my hand and make me stand up, i hesitated, he then pointed at his ring which was on the hand he used to take my hand and said hey look i am married but come on just 1 drink, its nothing' I said no to him and said I am here with my friends and he said to my friend ' you dont mind her coming with me for 5 mins do you, ill look after her' my friend said nothing i thin she was just a bit shocked as was I. He then asked a few more times and I said no and then about 15 mins later he left.
