Married men - Do you ever wish you were single again???

Re: Married men - Do you ever wish you were single again???

Alright, bro. If your wife is happy with it, then all good.

any man who wishes at 40 he were doing what he did at 20 is miserable and weird.

Re: Married men - Do you ever wish you were single again???

Not necessarily. It's only natural to reminisce about your youth and yearn for the carefree lifestyle and energy that you had during that time. It's just that some people let this consume them and end up making unreasonable and even hurtful decisions and others can maintain more of a balance.

I always assumed girls get mature faster than guys, my wife still has a long way to go. She's 21 but still acts like a teenager.

Re: Married men - Do you ever wish you were single again???

i dont know a lot of guys who'd come write such stuff about their wives online. and you sound like a virginboi#1 in half your posts. whats up with that?

Re: Married men - Do you ever wish you were single again???

how about men who are not married? would they wanna get married? i, for one, would NOT wanna marry for the wrong reasons ... :D

Re: Married men - Do you ever wish you were single again???

Lol wait till you get married, trust me that is not going to happen. Learn to say the words "I'm sorry" a lot, even though 90% of the time you don't know what you're apologizing for.

I wonder why some women are not saying now,

“man up and grow a pair”. :hehe:

I mean you are the man. If you see she is overtly clingy, then talk to her. You are older and more experienced. Why not do something about it.

Stay late deliberately (at work) and make her used to of you coming late. In fact you should have done that long time ago.

In terms of talking to her she’s like a kid, if I say that to her she only gets more upset. It’s like throwing oil on a fire.

What I’m trying to do is encourage her to go back to University this year and finish her Bachelors. Hopefully that will give her something else to focus on - (rather than bothering me 24/7), will keep her busy, and hopefully she’ll make some close friends in a city that’s new for her. My hope is that once she finishes school she’ll get a job in her field, this should keep her busy and happy.

Let her be upset for a while. She will learn. Sorry if that is not what you like to do.

Someday when you are late and she is not mad, tell her you liked her understanding. That will also give her an idea.

Anyways, good that you will engage her in something else.
