Was just reading an islamic website and someone is finally talking about this sensitive topic. Islam is all about getting boys and girls getting married early so there is no roving about.
But a lot of muslim married men, who are particular about their salah, and decent guys in general indulge in this online. Watching videos is what a lot of them do if nothing else.
My question is :
What makes a guy do this ? I mean these guys have wives who are covered well, they have a happy family so to speak and do keep their gaze lowered so then why watch such videos.
Should the wives be worried that they might be lacking in something or not fulfilling her wifely duties somehow if a guy does this?
And why do these men do this, when they know that islamically it is WRONG on all accounts ?
Is there any guidance that can be provided to help parents with teenage sons if they come across such incidents in their homes?
I totally understand (or rather sympathise with) why unmarried men watch porn. Married men on the other hand, I have no idea. Maybe they're just addicted.
A side but related note. Lot of Muslim married women, who are particular about their salah, and decent women in general are indulged in Gheebat. How comes wtaching porn is considered a bigger sin in our society than doing gheebat?
I am not justifying one act, but its so easy to attack males, saying that "oh look, they are married but watch porn" while totally ignoring the bigger and more common negative trait, that is already labeled as one of the biggest sins.
A girl will ask a married guy if he is single.
Porn doesnt ask them if they are single or married.
A guys has to spend time, making girl laugh and like him
Married guys dont have to waste time, on making porn laugh and like them.
If a married guy is caught with a girl, Alot of people will get hurt, emotionally and physically
If Married guys get caught watching porn, a laptop or an Iphone wud get broken thats about it. The wife might be emotionally hurt but not as bad.
^ are you comparing watching porn to talking smack behind someone's back? It's not the same.
Islamically they maybe both sins but socially one is acceptable the other not. You can do gheebat in front of your mom but can you do the other?
Since it's socially acceptable that makes it okay? Only a mad man would watch porn in front of his mum, what his mum doesn't know won't hurt her. Besides, it's not like most mums don't know their teenage boys get up to no good in their rooms.
ok all muslim posters tell me what is bigger sin zina aur taking interest on money?
There is a hadees that says that there are 72 levels of ribah, lowest is equivalent to commit adultery with ones own mother, and highest is like doing gheebat.

Thats what i wanted to hear...so taking ribah is bigger sin than watching porn right?
