There is a married couple I know. Husband is very umm witty. He loves her wife very much but damn his wife tells us about his lame one liners with other ladies. She is pretty cool with it but being a desi I always find it hard to digest when she does so.

You know......we chalk a lot up to cultural differences....even when there really aren't any.
If you speak to any self-respecting "gora family", you'll find that their morals aren't that far away from those dictated by brown culture. Wearing a mini is not appreciated in their circles either.

Muzna, By desi I meant that as I grew up in Pakistan I faced certain culturual norms. Though I claim to be very liberal and in most cases I am, I still find certain issues hard to comprehend and this was one.

if u read the first paragraph...i was referring 2 a girl who didnt flirt with any guys...barely acknowledged anyone...my friends thought she was rude but 2 me that made me special...and out of respect i woudnt flirt with other gals because she was special enough 4 me 2 do that...and the fact is she didnt do it...

I still think flirting iz fun n harmless but u compromise out of respect...my point was a lot of girls dont deserve that respect because they flirt anyway...so if the girl i know flirts and teases men when shes out with her friends then why should i bother not to...
