Marriages talks have ended *help me get over heartbreak*

For the past month I have been speaking to a young, successful, amazing person for rishta purposes. But there was a fight that happened and it’s all said and done. We called it off, but I tried to change his mind but he won’t budge. He’s very stubborn, but I guess this just means he has lost total interest. What can I do to get over this heartbreak?

Buy a kindle.
Buy a book.
Learn a new language.
Go on a crazy spending spree.
Bake a cake.
Invent a tmie machine and move forward a few weeks.

Haha I love the crazy spending spree idea but I'm pretty much in too much student debt. -_- If only I could get a time machine and move forward though. That's a foolproof plan. lol

I don't know what to do. I am still trying to persuade him to be into me, but that's pretty ridiculous and I wish I could stop that. :/ Life is so tough sometimes!

really sorry to hear that. Ive always been a firm believer that in this life everything happens for a reason. Some things in the present time may seem out of your hands but there will come a point in your life where itll make sense and maybe youll even be thankful for it. So chin up. Go and live :)

The breakage of these talks is due to the evil eye influence. Believe it or not friends, I told a friend of mine about him and she started becoming very envious. From that point on, things have not been the same, and I did something really wrong to him which caused him to break it off. Because of the nazar influence, I'm at an even bigger loss. I don't know what to do. :( Convincing him of this does not seem to work. He did not like the way I dealt with the fight, so he just decided to call it quits. I agreed at the time, but I'm so regretful. sigh Why must this hurt so much? :(

But yes everything happens for a reason. Our marriage was just not meant to be, I suppose.

if he is unable to move past a mistake that you made when you are admitting it and apologizing for it then he either did not share the same level of attachment to you or he simply did not value your friendship.
the important part is that you learn the lesson that this is meant to teach you and move on.

like others have said.....find something to occupy you so completely that you don't have time to think about this.....

Spend more time with your friends, go out and enjoy yourself.. Try not to stay in on your own cos you'll prob end up just dwelling on it..

It's not that I don't value him. It's just that his decision is final. I did something to harm him emotionally in a difficult situation, and what he wanted out of a wife is someone who would truly understand him and manage conflicts well. I did something that was an absolute deal-breaker for him, so it just goes to show, our story was not meant to be. I hope Allah taala helps him find a suitable wife and that I have a great husband planned for me in the future. I just can't do anything right now to change fate because I have to take responsibility for my mistakes and live with the fact that he is not going to give me a second chance. And by the way, I don't need a stubborn husband. I want my future husband to forgive my mistakes, and to move on. But he does not seem to be the kind of guy that does that, so it is best I discovered this before marriage rather than after.

Read Quran with translation, pray namaz, make dua, and read tahujjud namaz. Become closer to Allah. He will never let you down.

Yes Twinklestar, I have firm faith in God's plans. I did istikhara and despite that all of this happened. He was not a good match for me. I'm glad I found out. :)
