It simply means that Allah has made it possible for both of them to be together..

it's part of the doctrine of predestination, which says that everything significant in our life, e.g. our profession, spouse, children etc... is determined beforehand by God in heaven.

do u mean allah destined me to drink alcohole, share bed with girls and do other bad thing why then i am considered responsible. Allah has given us wisdom and strength to pave our own way (ofcourse with allah's blessings).
marriages are madde in heaven is what i find disturbing because this heaven logic can be applied to anything that happen to us.

may be those who died before getting married were not ‘married in heaven’? for polygamists they were married to all partners in ‘heaven’? whats wrong in that?

Nonsense. Marriages are not made in heaven. Allah clearly states in the Quran what crieteria WE are to use while SEARCHING for a spouse. This whole "marriage made in heaven thing" is a fairy tale perpetuated by aunties to make their daughters feel better.

There is no point of marrying someone in heaven. Its only for this life on earth, where things are forbidden and there are rules. Does it not say in the Quran over & over again that people in the heaven will be served with the finest wines? & wine on earth (in this life) is Haraam.

well i hear that as soon as the baby is concieved the whole kismat/taqdeer alongwith the spouse ,if any, is written.jews believe the same but they say 7 days later after the baby is concieved.
people make the mistake that wat happens is written by god,maybe god writes wat he KNOWS will happen,the choices u will make ,the road u will choose,the sins u will committ.its a delicate point but in my observation 99.99 make the same assumption keh what happens is written by god.
