Re: Marriage

I think religion and the social stuff help u follow a guideline...which are mostly common sense any way.

Marriage is the unconditional companionship between two individuals. You're there for each other, all the time. You create a family unit, procreate because you want a product of your bonding. I think that's what it is.

Re: Marriage

Well true that it isn't needed but by getting married, you're agreeing to be committed. Well actually u can technically be committed even without marriage but then there would be too many other issues to worry about.

So I guess in the end it does come to social and religious dynamics.

Re: Marriage

Social, religious ... and legal too, I guess

Re: Marriage

Peace philosophy

So are you gonna reveal yet, as you mentioned in the OP?

Re: Marriage

hahahahha at the last line.

Re: Marriage

You said " Marriage is the unconditional companionship between two individuals" and in the same breath said;

"You're there for each other, all the time. You create a family unit, procreate because you want a product of your bonding. I think that's what it is"

Kia yeh Khula Tazad nahee...lol

it is like conditioning unconditionally.

In fact Marriage is "conditioned" all the way from its very inception to its collapse and even beyond.

Re: Marriage

Marriage in not just companionship, or two 'committed' people living lives together.

First: Marriage is between man and a woman.

Second: The condition is not imposed by one on the other. It is 'accepted' by both individuals.

Hence, what gora kala tries to say it is some way a conditioned (or forced) act then it is not true. No one puts (or should put) gun to two individuals.

It is supposed to be a willful act by two opposite sex members.
