^Dating has a very different meaning in US in comparison to the concept we have in UK or Pakistan. In US, two people meeting in a public place for a chat is considered dating.
Dating for me has a very different meaning than for you. Lets just say because of her ‘dating’, she became a better Muslim and even started hijab and 4 years later passed this wise choice on to me. Much of the credit for my own hijab goes to my sister and BIL when they were not married.
