Marriage Stories

trash

sweet story but not to sound judgemental, you father being president of MUSLIM ASSOCIATION and his father being heavily involved in ICNA… then them two DATING for 7 years… sort of does not make sense. Doesn’t that sound contradictory just saying?

Re: Marriage Stories

^Dating has a very different meaning in US in comparison to the concept we have in UK or Pakistan. In US, two people meeting in a public place for a chat is considered dating.

Re: Marriage Stories

Mashallah at all these beautiful stories...so sweet!

Re: trash

Dating for me has a very different meaning than for you. Lets just say because of her 'dating', she became a better Muslim and even started hijab and 4 years later passed this wise choice on to me. Much of the credit for my own hijab goes to my sister and BIL when they were not married.

Re: Marriage Stories

Psyah's version:

There was once a girl named Hareem
Her name started with a ha and ended with a meem
She had a heart of gold and smile filled with gleam

One day I asked her if she could be my wife
or I would slash my wrists with a knife
and put gundas behind her life

So she thought and she thought and finally agreed
today we live in the UK and have our own breed
I am her slave that never wants to be freed
