Do you agree? Do you think people straighten out after marriage?
Logically, I’d say no. But a lot of girls who had massive snob problems, ended up becoming…well…normal - after marriage that is. Like suddenly, they were able to speak politely and normally to other girls their age, instead of being catty and competetive.
Some guys I have seen actually go from being boys to MEN. They make their own decisions, they stop running to mommy for everything. They grow some real balls.
I don’t know what it is about marriage that brings about this change. Maybe some increase in security.
I seriously feel desis are highly insecure and that is a root cause of their behavioral problems.
I only knew of one girl like that, she hated men because of her dad. She wasnt mentaly stable and wanted to hurt herself so that she could get back at him. But once she got married, forgot all about it and now lives happily with her husband and kids.
But I know alot of aunties who want their sons to marry good desi girls so "woh sudhar jaen"
Yes it i strue. I have been on the straight and arrow since my marriage....before that I was a bad bad boy....there are a couple of folks on this board who have known me for a long time and if any of you say a word......you are dead meat
Kaleem you reek of being a “former bad boy” and I know nothing about anything
Tj, fine their moms want some grl from pak who will tame him but why the hell shud she suffer through his bullshiit while he “sudhars” ??
As for change, welll… my brother was a massively dirty person very messy very piggish but since he married, he’s very neat and clean now.. everytime he gets somethin to drink, he puts the glass bak right away when he’s done… i think he’s gotten even nicer too I know! My dad too changed apparently after I was born… so yeah i believe fully that men and women can change after marriage (sometimes for better)
Kids is something different. Almost everyone tries to shape up (at least in public) when they have kids. You don't want your child picking up your bad habits.
Well, but then again, that's what people with common sense would think. :D
