It absurd that any govt should take it upon themselves to define the identity of Millions of the nations own citizens. I mean to understand how insane that is, simply put yourself in the place of Ahmadis. Imagine the govt tomorrow decided that YOU were no linger a Muslim. Now the govt takes upon itself the role of God in defining your religion. Its mental! Only in this antiquated pseudo “islamic” state as Pakistan could such lunacy be validated.
The notion that the British were so threatened by the Muslims of India that they needed to try to start a whole new religion is laughable. I mean is there any evidence for this? How conceited does one have to be, how much can one inflate their self importance, that such nut job conspiracy theories are now accepted as being fact! If anything it was the Hindus who were a bigger threat. Muslims were lining up to join the British army. If anything, the Muslims were an asset. And it wasn’t as if the Muslims were a unified force to begin with, that they would feel the need to create some disunity among them.
Besides, so many other religions have started without British influence, and yet people single out Mirza Ghulam Ahmed as being the one propped up by the British.
This whole thing is intellectually dishonest. They are misled for believing in something they take on faith, but you are accurate and your beliefs wholesome even though everything you believe is also taken on faith ? And yet you see no inherent flaw in your thinking ? Come on now…
