Sunday August 17th there was a Pakistani Independence day mela/concert at the Markham fairgrounds. Highlight of the show was Abrar who showed up at around 10, as usual.
Smoothy gave me and Elements (yeah he’s a guppy, look him up!) a ride to the venue and back. There we met up with Desimunda and Coconut and another guppy who is going to be the **mystery man **for this thread! 
Stood around the food stalls for a while and caught up with things. I chugged down coupla kabab rolls that kept me goin till the end of the show. Soon we decided to go check out the different stalls waghera. Emphasis was on the ‘waghera’. If ya know what i mean. 
So we went around looking for lassi without much luck. Then we found faluda which turned out to be NoName vanilla ice cream drowned in rooh afza with milk. Right! Some faaluda it was.
Then we went and grabbed a picnic table to stand on and from then on till the end of the show we were at the same spot pretty much. Different singers came and tried really hard to embarass themselves. And hey they did it too!
Then out of the blue these two guppans decided to show up but i think smoothy’s and my yelling and hooting scared them away.
Most people had to leave early so only me smoothy and Elements were left by the time Abrar did his Billo and Nach Punjaban. And so the night ended and we started our 60 mile trip back home to ssauga.

from left to right, Mystery Man, Smooth Guy, Ghost 1, Ghost 2, Ghost 3. My main object was really to get the Gannay Kay Rus wali machine in the back to the right of smooth guy. I think i did get part of it.

I tried to get this chammak challo in red shakin pretty much everything she had on film. Sadly disposable cameras don’t come with zoom lenses, yet.
Your assignment for today: Guess what guppy the Mystery Man is. The rules are as simple. If you have seen/met him already (and i know quite a few people have) BEFORE this thread, please shut your trap we dont need to listen to you :-D. No seriously, give others a chance too. Thanks!
