What kind of abuse? What is it defined by? Verbal/physical/sexual/emotional? If abuse is an argument with ur husband where he started swearing…then even in the West 80% of women must have been victims of abuse. Don’t just throw a random extremely general fact out there without any evidence to back it up.

Yes, domestic violence exists in Pakistan…Pakistan isn’t perfect…is it 70%? No. If anything it’s closer to 40%. And that too in tribal/village/rural areas. Education and exposure has changed the mindsets of people living in major cities.
