@Pashtunwarrior just curious as to what your feelings would be if your daughter or sister were married to an abusive man who yelled at her swore at her, hit her and emotionally and psychologically abused her and at night demanded she performs her duties in bed as the angels will curse at her if she does not, and maybe this was an arranged marriage against her will and she is never able to love him and maybe the husband never makes an effort to win her heart as the religion has sanctioned his right to rape her over and over again. Would you defend her right t say no.

Is that what your parents taught you that when you don’t agree with someone, pull his female family members in your distasteful remarks?

If a person keeps on rejecting that need of his or her spouse, then the person is disrespecting the spouse. Every now and then, I am sure that any decent man would back off when realizes that wife is tired, or not in mood etc. But if wife is continuously refusing the requests then the man would be left with threes options.

1. Non consensual sex with his wife
2. Go and cheat on her with another woman.
3. Divorce her and marry another woman.

Wife has to agree with one of them.

Martial Rape is a bull crap term probably coined by greedy lawyers or sick minded journalist. If Islam does not recognize it, then there is a reason. Wife is not a victim, cause she is not locked in a jail or has been kidnapped by the husband. Under any normal circumstance, she can leave him if she is not happy. There are no obligations on her to have sex with him, but then she should not remain his wife.
